What I Learned

Over the course of this semester in Digital Arts 2, I have learned a lot about design and what makes a good composition. During the portrait project, I learned how to use contrasting colors to create depth and using shades of color to make a face look realistic. During the bullying poster project, I learned a lot about the importance of type and all the different types and styles of text that can be used to create different effects. I also was able to experiment with animation during the talking heads project and the music video, which was something that I had not done before. I still prefer making a single image as animation is very tedious and takes a long time to create.
